Biographical Information Graduate of Anna Maria College 30 years Mass Army National Guard Graduate of Infantry Officers Advanced Course and Command and General Staff College Message: "Hi, my name is LTC Steven Valente. I am the commander of the "Nations First", the 1-182nd INF (M) headquartered in Dorchester, Massachusetts. Our unit is a M113 Battalion assigned to the 86th Brigade, VTARNG. The Battalion is presently authorized a strength of over 800 soldiers. Those individuals fill MOS positions such as the following; 11B, 11H, 11C, 63T, 88M, 31U, 91B, 92G, etc. We are presently looking for qualified individuals to fill some vacancies and serve with us in this historic unit. If you or anyone you know is interested in serving in a "high speed" combat National Guard unit, call us at 617-727-1283." Give us a call or stop by and see what our unit is all about. We are particularly interested in individuals who have prior military service backgrounds in the Infantry or Mech. Infantry. We presently have vacancies in all level positions from E-2 to O-4.
